SELLERS - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The following are the most asked questions we receive concerning
our MLSvideo "Seller" Real Estate Services. Please read prior to contacting MLSvideo
Support.
What are the most important criteria to selling a property?
Price and Exposure. If you price your property at market value dependent
on the condition and location of your property, it will sell with the right
exposure. With MLSvideo's solution, your property is given the necessary
market exposure, at the price you choose.
How does MLSvideo help sell my property?
What we provide is exposure for your property. By using web pages, flyers,
electronic mail newsletters, and most importantly, a MLS listing. The MLS
listing data is accessible by thousands of real estate agents, and to the
general public on hundreds of partner web sites that download the
MLS listings for display on their web sites.
MLSvideo provides you with the market exposure necessary to sell your
property.
How will real estate agents gain entry into my property?
When listing your property on the MLS system, you can determine the rules
for entry into your property. You can only allow entry when you are present
or you can have a lock box installed at your home which will enable only
licensed real estate agents to gain access to your home when showing a
potential buyer. Lock boxes are excellent devices to use, especially if
no one is at the property at most times. Please contact us to obtain
a lock box upon payment of a small rental and deposit fee.
Will real estate agents representing buyers or potential buyer call me directly?
Your contact information will be presented on the MLS listing, flyer, and
sign post so that potential buyers can contact you directly. This is
different from some of our competitors who may offer a "flat fee" listing
to generate call volume into "their" office and then market their services
to potential buyers. With our service, "you", the seller, are the direct
contact. Agents representing the buyer may contact you to inquire about
viewing your property or to present offers. They are not allowed to
hassle you or solicit your business since your property is already represented
by a licensed real estate broker. Any solicitation would be a violation of
licensing laws, MLS regulations and Real Estate Code of Ethics. Please
report any inappropriate inquiries to MLSvideo immediately.
Once my property is listed, does MLSvideo continue to monitor my situation?
Yes! As the status of your property changes such as when an offer is
received, an offer is subject to inspection, and you are accepting secondary
offers, or the property is sold, please update this information with MLSvideo.
Please email or call us for any reason throughout the selling process. We
stay with you and answer your questions until your property is sold.
