The WAA - Seattle Chapter is the official University of Wisconsin Alumni Association club for the Puget Sound region. We are an organization with over 1000 participants, from over 8000 Wisconsin Badger Alumni in the Puget Sound area, involved in a wide variety of club activities, events and community service. There are no member dues, our primary goal is socializing with fellow Badgers and friends, not fund raising. The following are our upcoming events:

August 14, 2010 - Annual Beer 'n Brat Fest
This year's picnic will be held at Vasa Park on Lake Sammamish from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. This is by far the biggest and most popular event of the year so be sure not to miss it. September 3, 2010 - Women's Soccer in Seattle
Univ. of Wisconsin Women's Soccer team will be in Seattle playing in the Husky Invitational hosted by Univ. of Washington. Wisconsin plays against Portland at 2:30pm at the Univ. of Washington Soccer field on Friday, September 3rd.

September 4, 2010 - Badger Football Las Vegas
The Wisconsin Badgers Football team returns to the West Coast to take on the University of Nevada Las Vegas, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Badger traveling tours from Wisconsin will be staying at the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas and Treasure Island hotels. The Badgers have come to Las Vegas four times before, which resulted in the only four sellouts in the history of Sam Boyd Stadium. For ticket package information please check out the US Alumni Association site UNLV Football Weekend. As another option the Los Angeles Badger club has reserved a block of rooms at the Monte Carlo hotel, more information at LA Badger Hotel Reservation. Currently there are only three ways to obtain tickets for the game; 1) Purchase season tickets for UNLV football through UNLV, as low as $100 for season tickets; 2) Purchase a package through the WAA, including their hotel package at the Wynn or Treasure Island; 3) Wait until July and purchase individual tickets through UNLV on your own. Difficult to determine if tickets will be available in July through UNLV, or if scalpers will acquire all of them to sell in the secondary market. September 5, 2010 - Women's Soccer in Seattle
